Here we share some observations about and snapshots of the Passive House we had built in Oakland County, Michigan. All photographs were taken by us unless otherwise noted.

Insulating Concrete Forms were assembled on the crawlspace footings today. These forms have insulation sides with support members for reinforcing steel. The forms stay in place after concrete is poured to provide insulation for the underground walls, typically a source of significant thermal energy loss in a building.
